EverCherished Memorial is a platform for creating and sharing online tributes and memorials. It allows users to post stories, photos, and videos, with a focus on emotional resonance and ease of use.
The Challenge
The platform needed to handle multimedia uploads efficiently while maintaining a sensitive, respectful tone. Custom post types for tributes required a flexible CMS without compromising performance.
The Solution
I built a Next.js frontend with a headless WordPress CMS, using GraphQL for efficient data fetching. Cloudinary was integrated for optimized image and video uploads. The UI featured TailwindCSS for a clean, empathetic design, with accessibility features like high-contrast text.
The Results
The platform saw 5,000 active users within three months, with 90% user retention. Page load times averaged under 2 seconds, and accessibility audits scored 95/100. The client praised the platform’s emotional design and scalability.
